Lesson 1, C Major scale

Guys, this is the first lesson I post to this blog, hopefully it will help u guys. Today I'm going to talk about C Major scale that being widely used in most of the songs as the chords are quite simple as most of the guitar player surely know. Ill show you guys the scale first.

bold character is the root of the scale which is C.

Since we already know the scale, so lets come to the chord, Ill show you few example of the chord progression and you try to play with these few picking style.

Chord Progression Example
C->F->C->G

Am->F->G->C

C->Am->F->G

F->G->C->C

C->Em->Am->F

Is it sounds familiar? What I'm trying to say is that the scale is quite useful once you master it because you can use it to color your songs.
