Lesson 3, Chords' in C major scale

Most of the songs around us have various key for the song like the Canon in D means it is in the key of D. But most of the book and tablature will play it in C. The reason for it is because chords for C major key are rather simple. The chords for C major key is as follow.

C major

D minor

E minor

F major

G major

A minor

B diminished

I think most of the people already know the first 6 chords and can play it smoothly, for the B diminished, just ignore it as it hardly appeared in a song.

Try play these progression:
Canon in C progression
C->G->Am->Em->F->C->F->G

Try to master these few chords as it will come in handy in the future. Happy playing~
